Eleusis

The city of the grain goddess, Demeter and Koris, the city, where the sight donated two precious goods for the entire ancient Greek world. One good was the "civilization" of cultivating the land, and the other was the initiation of the Greeks into a higher spiritual experience, the fact of the eternal cycle of birth and death, i.e. the "Eleusinian Mysteries".

During the 6th century BC, it became the center of a great cultural and religious expression, which radiated in antiquity with great architectural monuments, temples, public buildings, and with its extensive settlement. The monuments of this city, whose religious cult is even today a great scientific enigma, were saved to a significant extent and urge us to turn our gaze to a city that has remained a mystery for thirty centuries.
