The attic riviera is where the "hidden gems" of Attica metaphorically and literally are to be found. We will start from the main archaeological site of the area, by visiting the temple of god Poseidon.
After exploring the whole site seeing the settlement and the dockyards, we will keep to Lavrion the 1st industrial area of the antiquity, a very rich area in minerals. In this area we will see something unique of ancient Greece that very few people see while visiting: a mine, an ancient washery and one of the oldest theatres of the world with a very rare groundplan.
According to the day of visiting we either visit the Mineral Museum or the Lavrion Archaeological Museum. The most fresh sea food of Attica is here in the great local tavernas. Through one of the 10 National Parks of Greece we drive back.
